Vehicle Detail
1976 Dodge D200 Adventurer ¾ ton standard cab – 67,490 original miles. Unrestored, rust-free, very original, very clean truck. Original 400c.i. engine runs great, compression is good. Tires and brakes are fine. Automatic transmission shifts easy and smooth but leaks from the pan. No cracks in the dash or door panels. All the glass, stainless trim and chrome are very good. No missing trim. All gauges and lights work properly. This truck has the rare bucket seats in very good condition; no splits or tears; the only flaw is the welt on the driver’s side is separating. A/C optioned truck, but does not blow cold. It has a working, correct AM/FM stereo, and a mono dash speaker. I suspect the original AM radio was switched out at sometime. The tailgate is a correct replacement, unfortunately, the paint was poorly matched and now the tailgate is a little more on the orange side. Original spare and jack are still in place and look like they’ve never been used. This is a terrific, well cared for, honest older truck. The body has some scratches and dings, however, it is a remarkably nice 37-year-old pickup. Excellent truck for daily use or easy restoration. A brief history on the truck as I know it: It was originally owned by a man in Oklahoma who used it for his slide-in camper. He owned it until his passing and a young couple purchased it at the estate sale. They owned it for about a year and sold it to me, as it had become an impractical choice for them. I bought it as a work truck, but cleaned it up and realized it is just too nice for a work truck. Please e-mail if you have additional questions. $500 deposit required within 48 hours of auction end.
