This is a beautiful 1976 Honda CB750 Automatic motorcycle--the first year of manufacture for this model. It is 100% original, with the lone exception being that the tank was repainted with Honda Candy Orange, which shines like new. This motorcycle is part of the collection of the Motorcycle and Model Railroad Museum of Wisconsin. Every year, we sell a few bikes that have either been donated to us, or we have more than one example, so as to raise money for other vehicles we wish to purchase and add to the collection. To that extent, a portion of your purchase price may be tax deductible (consult with your accountant). We will gladly provide you with a letter stating your purchase price for this reason should you so desire. The bike has been graded as condition 2 by the Vintage Motorcycle Certification Service. and lists a value of $3,000 in this condition in the Comprehensive Vintage Motorcycle Price Guide, published by Whitehorse Press in Center Conway, NH. This book is regarded as the "bible" of vintage motorcycle prices, but our reserve is much lower than this. As for the bike itself, it was recently serviced by M & MRM mechanics for the spring and last year received a complete tune-up and service from our friends at "The Shop" in Milwaukee, WI who provide service and restoration service for the M & MRM. All service records come with the motorcycle. The paint is perfect, and the chrome is excellent. We just rode it 20 miles on Thursday, April 4, with absolutely no problems. Mileage is original. We are the 3rd owners of the vehicle. You are welcome to e-mail us with any questions you have about this motorcycle, and we will answer them in a timely fashion. We MUST be able to contact you by email/phone, be able to contact a US bank on which your payment will be drawn to verify funds, and have a name of your bank officer. The balance should be paid in the form of a certified check drawn on a US Bank where funds can be verified before we deposit it, and should be received here within 7 days of the auction's end. You may also pay for the balance with Pay Pal, but a 4% surcharge will be added to the final cost to offset the Pay Pal fees. We DO NOT ship, but will be happy to coordinate a pick-up time with your shipper and help them load/tie down the vehicle. We recommend either UShip, Federal, or Haul Bikes, as we have used all of these firms successfully ourselves.
