Vehicle Detail

1990 Chevrolet C1500 SS454 2wd P/U 468 Cid Big Block, 454 block bored .30 over. 475 HP. Engine built by JB’s Machine Shop in Whitemarsh MD. Runs strong! 454 block used for swap is a 70’s era block. All checked before the rebuild by machine shop. · Roller Cam (Comp Cams), Edelbrock Carb, K&N filter, Bosh water pump. · 700R4 O/D auto trans from Bowtie Overdrives, high performance transmission. · Custom driveshaft w new U-Joints from Moxley drivetrain services in Md. · 20x10 Boyd Coddington Maestro wheels, powder coated black w Nitto Extreme tires · Sony stereo system, 6.5” door speakers w custom enclosure, 10” kicker sub, 300W amp · Auto meter gauges · MSD Distributor & Wire Set, AC Delco Plugs · Hotchkis Sway Bars front and rear w end links · Dayton Posi Rear unit installed, stock axles and ring gear · 3” exhaust w flowmaster original 40 series (you may wake the neighbors) · Truxedo soft bed cover · Reman Steering Gear · Windows Tinted Notes: Truck has 180k miles on the actual truck, the new engine has less than 5k. I purchased already lowered, it has a bolt on “c” notch kit with drop spindles, possibly purchased through LMC truck. It also has Hotchkis suspension parts installed. Fuel system is OE from the tank up to the pressure regulator, we did not have time to drop tank and upgrade pump. This truck is not a trailer queen vehicle, it’s a real world truck. It has some scratches and is still used as a truck sometimes to haul yard waste and help people move. I’ve driven to Ocean City Maryland, Carlisle Pa, and Wildwood NJ. The truck runs nice on the highway. Its all stock interior with normal wear, the driver’s seat has worn through at the frame section (see pic). All heat and vent systems work fine, the AC system is still there, just not recharged, so I don’t know if ac works. ALL factory wiring is still under the hood, we really tried not to hack apart the stock harnesses. I have all items that we needed to remove. All dash gauges work fine, all lights work fine, power windows work fine. We really tried not to “backyard mechanic” this truck. The friend that helped me has 20+ years mechanical background. Needed To Finish – The speedometer needs the electronic adapter from trans swap, currently not hooked up. Tail pipes are off level. Driver seat tear. Fuel pump needs a slight upgrade. See Pics - Cowl hood fell over in the garage when we were swapping the motor, cowl has dents and paint dmg. Front bumper paint is chipped. Front door hinges are a little worn (orig) so the doors are hard to shut in cold weather. ***Please Message Me or Email for any info or additional photos***
