Hello, Today I am offering for sale my 1973 Corvette convertible. I took this car on trade for a street rod a little over a year ago. This car has been restored by the previous owner . He had the body gone over and painted at a professional body shop. The paint job cost over $9,000.00 dollars over eight years ago This car always draws a crowd at any cruise in or car show. It drives straight and true. The man that had the car was from the Birmingham Alabama area. ( NO Snow or Salt so no Rot Out!) The gentleman owned the car for approx. 20 yrs. He provided me with approx. 20 yrs worth of records. The original build sheet is included with the paperwork. This car is as it was in 1973 . This vette runs as a vette should. It has had the exhaust system replaced with an original style system. ( Its not loud but has that "Classic Chevy small block sound when you run it through the gears) This Vette is very solid (no rattles etc) . engine uses no oil, doesn't smoke. I am including all paper work and records. ( Engine was completely rebuilt in 1991 ) The car has the original shifter, am/fm radio (it works!) gauges (the clock works and keeps time) and it is one of less than 400 convertibles built with factory air conditioning and a 4-speed transmission! The only item that does need repair is the air-conditioning. I drove the car last summer and here in the north I really didn't miss it.I believe all that is needed is a new compressor and have the system recharged. I drove the car last summer and had no issues what so ever. I did replace the clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. I also installed new door panels and I installed a new Optima battery. Tonight I have taken the car to my mechanic and had the oil changed and I took pictures underneath. The car is very solid. Frame and all componets are in great shape. I am happy to answer any all questions. Please keep in mind that a "CAR CAN ONLY BE ORIGINAL ONCE" and the fact that this car is 40 yrs old says something in itself.
