Vehicle Detail
1989 Ford F-150302 V84WDBedlinerThe last buyer backed out because he evidently thought this truck was going to be in perfect shape. The truck has been sitting for months because I have been driving a different truck. When it was parked, the engine would run, but it was rather difficult to start. The starter sticks now, and I'm sure other issues have arisen from it sitting. The brakes look like they need replaced. The 4WD worked when it was parked. The transmission shifts fine, but the previous owner rigged the steering column in such a way that it makes it difficult to see what gear you are in. The body is in the shape you see. It does, indeed, have rust. The rear bumper is rather rusty. It would be fine for a work truck or for mudding. The interior could use a good cleaning. There is no battery in the truck and the brakes need fixed (maybe replaced, I don't know) before it can be driven anywhere, so it will need to be towed. The truck isn't pretty anymore (look at the pictures), but it would make a nice project for someone mechanically inclined. There are two chrome mirrors and some newer struts for the truck that will come in the cab, but not installed. The truck is in a parking lot right off of US route 40 so it can be easily towed. If I have not made it clear enough, you will not put a battery in this and drive away. It needs work, it has rust, but the engine turns over and with some work it could be a decent truck. It has two tanks, but one has a hole in it and the other has old gas. The old gas will need to be drained before you try to start the truck. The mileage is not accurate. I think it may only have 117,000 miles on it, but that could be wrong too. Basically, the body is ugly, but the engine, transmission and 4WD all work, so it can also work as a parts truck. Let me reinterate one last time, the truck needs work before it is ready to drive! $350 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours If you have any questions, ask
