Up For A NO RESERVE auction is a ONE Family owned 1968 Ford Torino GT Fastback. This car runs and drives but needs restored. This Ford Torino Was purchased off of the original family. I have a copy of the title when a family transfer was done in 1974, and the original Ford warranty card, original owners manual, and a set of 1968 Ohio plates. This car has been inside a barn since the 1980’s. It has 106,864 original miles. It has a 289 cubic inch engine and is an automatic. The car starts up but will need the carb rebuilt as which it leaks from the accelerator pump, you have to dump a little gas into the carb to get it to start but then runs good after that. It does need exhaust. The brakes do work but need bled. I have driven this car around my driveway not down the road. It seems like the brakes are hanging up some, probably from sitting. It Has power steering that works good. Runs good and does not miss at all. Has a leak in the radiator once it gets warm and under pressure. Has the original tires that hold air for a day or two, as well as the original spare, jack and 4 way in the trunk. All of the glass is in good condition without any cracks. The interior is in decent condition no cracks in the dash, the front 2 seats would need recovered. The bottom of the rear quarters are rusted and the front fenders behind the tire would need replaced. Please see all of the pictures for more specifics about the body of the car. Doors will need new hinge pins as they open a little hard. I have described the car the best I can but it is an excellent candidate for restoration. You do not see too many of these cars, especially with the one family owner history like this one. Please ask questions before bidding on this NO RESERVE auction.
