1993 Cadillac DeVille 4 Door Sedan Milage: 56087 Condition: One owner Cadillac purchased new by retired couple in 1993. Car maintained with regular oil changes and any service required was performed. First 49K miles put on the car by 1999. In 1999 my father passed and car was used by Mom for around town errands at the rate of 500 miles a year. I had the car listed with the transmission havin a problem but we were test driving the car and found out one of the rear caliphers was draging, not a transmission problem. I had that repaired. Mom decided that it may be time to give up driving and just dispose of the car. At 87 years old that's a good idea. The car is in good shape however as Mom aged her driving ability deteriorated. Looking around the car she bumped into something with the front bumper bending the left bumper guard back slightly. All the hub caps are a little scraped up as she had problems parallel parking. There is some slight damage to the rear bumper and tail light area when she may have backed into something. She backed into something several years ago and I had the damage repaired, the second time she did not want to go to the bother of repairing as she is very frugal. When my father was alive he always kept a late model Cadallic or Linclon and was proud of them. He had anything including minor scratches repaired imediatelly. If he knew that she kept their last car for this long as he traded every few years, and saw that she did not keep the car in perfert condition like he did he would roll over in his grave. But that's a whole other story. On the right rear roof pillar there are some light scratches, it appears that she washed the car with a rag with some debris in it. As I stated the front wheel drive tramsmission is fine. The 4.9 liter V8 motor runs great and has plenty of power, never abused. It doesn't burn any oil, and doesn't appear to have any leaks looking at the garage floor. The power seats, power windows, radio, air conditioner, power door locks, power trunk lid and everything else on the car works fine. I just had the ac compressor replaced last year. Tires are almost new, she had a new set put on at 54K even though the original ones were still good she was afraid of dry rot and having a blow out at the top speed of 30 that she went around town at. She would not venture out on the intersate or higher speed roads. Interior is super clean, original carpet floor mats in great shape, no one has ever smoked in this car, driver seat leather shows normal wear for a 20 year old car. All door panels and dash are in great shape, no cracks. Instrument panel is in excellent condition. Trunk has original carpet with an additional mat that Cadallic provided when new. Car was garaged all of it's life, no rust.
