Vehicle Detail

1974 Honda CB 750 K4 This build was done by Lucky 13 Vintage Motorcycles making a cafe racer that would give the rider a motorcycle that had the acceleration, mid range, power, and handling of a modern crotch rocket while maintaining the timeless style of a cafe racer with the famous and unparalleled reliability "the Honda CB 750" used to drive companies like Triumph and Norton, who at the time saw their rein of 20 years as the leaders in the motorcycle business come crashing to their knees and stay there for almost 40 years. This is why the CB 750 was dubbed the first super bike and bike of the century. This bike was built to be a rolling advertisement motorcycle with the intention of it being a daily rider at night and would spend its days on the shop's showroom floor displaying the finest aftermarket parts available for the CB 750's the store had for purchase. This list of parts and work performed will show beyond a shadow of a doubt this bike was redone with the intention of never selling it. Which is why you will see that the bike will easily sell for half of the money it took to build. I am sure I will forget a few things that were done, but will do my best to list all parts and work performed. List of Parts and Work Performed1. Magnetic Oil Drain Plug- two of them at $34.95 each (Anyone that changes the oil on this bike will see why a magnetic drain plug should be installed on any motorcycle after seeing what is collected by the magnet under normal use.)6. Replaced Points Cover, installed Finned Black Joker Machine- $94.957. Steering Stem nut replaced, installed Clear Joker Machine-$29.958. Starter Motor Cover replaced, installed Joker finned black- $89.959. Lester Mag wheels with CB750 Hub- If you can find them with the CB Hub are $1200 Minimum. These are not for sale ANYWHERE!10. New Maintenance Free Battery- $ 109.9532. Kickstart Lever Cover- I have the original Kickstart lever and will come with the bike33. Bike was lowered about 2" in the front and 2.5" in the back.34. New Smaller modern turn signals (smoke lens) $21.95 front and $21.95 rear35. Hours upon hours of polishing various parts.36. Installed rear sprocket with two more teeth to give the bike more torque. Thats $4071.94 in custom parts alone. Not included is the labor and the cost of the bike in its natural state. Motor was disassembled and was amazed how good everything looked. Adjusted valves, and the only thing that I had to replace was the gaskets from taking it apart. Transmission looked great and in excellent working order. Doesn't burn any oil, and will leak a drop or two of oil but only after a very hard ride. The engine really seems to run cooler with the Blue Label Lucas oil 10W30, and has for the last 4-5 years always had a k&n oil filter. I do not recommend using synthetic oil on any 40 year old bike. Before the build started, the bike was a "Pacific Blue" CB 750 K4 and ran unbelievably good. That said, she was ugly. Not in the rusty abused way but in the high handle bars, big turn signals, stock CB Ugly Way. This bike is as fast as a cb gets and will not disappoint.
