Vehicle Detail
This single cab has just had all the body work completed and it looks great, runs, stops and steers properly. All the electrical items work. Good tires. Titled in my name. Drive it home anywhere right now. The body had typical lower sheet metal rust with a solid framework that's all been professionally repaired. The engine is a stock 1600 dual port. Major tune-up completed, it runs perfect and it's ready to go. Stock transaxle that shifts and operates properly. Brake components including master cylinder, soft lines, external hard lines, wheel cylinders and shoes are all new. The brakes are properly adjusted. 62 has the larger turn signals and tail lights which make it a great choice for a driver. Converted to 12 volt. The wheels are 14" with good tires and the modern safety bead. Enamel semi-gloss paint with catalyst, another logical choice for a truck that's going to be driven. It looks cool as is but if you want it shiny it's ready to top coat with high gloss after block sanding. The seat has a torn but usable cover. No checks of any type, PayPal for initial deposit is require. Cash or wire transfer only for the balance. Thank-You for understanding. On Mar-29-13 at 15:04:01 PDT, seller added the following information: The sheet metal used for the rust repair was purchased new from Wolfsburg West, Klassic Fab or Autocraft. New metal parts include the entire upper deck, rocker panels, lower nose, battery tray, passenger side lower rear corner, cab floor outer sections and some small parts. The gates were removed and repaired using shop made parts. There is no evidence of the truck ever being in a collision. The paint is semi-gloss and it hides a lot of imperfections. Please keep this mind, there are small imperfections and sanding marks visible. Excessive body filler was not used. However, some filler had to be used. It was pointed out to me that there are no mirrors. I have ordered a new set of left and right and they will be included.
