1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo -- 4.3 V6 No Reserve, Highest bidder wins it!- Black with Blue interior. - Odometer stopped working two years ago and is at 73,984 miles but has no more than 80,000 original miles gauranteed!-3 owners; My late Grandmother, My Mother, and myself!-Never any major accidents, a minor scuff in 86' and 88' that required paint. Thants it. This car was bought brand new in 1985 with 3 miles on the odometer by my late Grandmother. She babied this car like the son she never had for 21 years up until she passed in 2006. I then kept the car more for the emotional attachment ever since driving it sporadically through the years. We (my family) have decided to finally part ways with it. We have no space for it, it is tag less and uninsured and it's just sitting in my driveway. Now for the details: Car runs and drives very well; engine is the best part of the car. Transmission shifts ok, it has been rebuilt twice in its life so far. It has no AC but it has also been rebuilt twice before, all it needs is a compressor. The interior is decent, no major rips or tears, just the center arm rest and some on passenger side. The radio is aftermarket, not to good and its missing the bezel. Headboard is very good and sunshades are in great condition. Rug is ok, changed once already. The worst thing about the car is its body; it has a lot of rust on the roof, side panel and trunk. I simply can't afford to fix and or restore it. I would hate to see this car go to parts cause it has life, but it would make a great donor car. Great car to have as a restoration project or to get you from a to b! I have 28 years worth of receipts, notes and work invoices. I have the original manual and everything that goes with it.
