The documentation which further verifies and validates this Cuda include: the Build Out Sheet, Service Bulletin and the Window Sticker. The AAR Cuda was only produced in 1970 and its roots go back to the SCCA's road racing Trans Am Series. AAR stands for 'All American Racers' and making these cars unique are the 'Strobe Stripes' with the AAR Cuda logo, a fiberglass hood with fresh air intake and lock down pins, 'Eyebrow' front spoilers, a 'Duck Tail' rear spoiler and side exhaust outlets. The AAR Cuda was the first American car to offer different tire sizes front to back. This AAR Cuda was released from the factory with the only motor option available a 340 CID & 6-Barrel Carburetion mated to either a 4-Speed manual or a 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission and thus making this Cuda 1 of only 2724 built. This Cuda Beast has undergone a high horsepower motor transplant. This AAR now boasts a new crate 472 CID Hemi pushing over 575 HP (costing more than $20K) and is mated to a 4-Speed manual transmission with a Centerforce Clutch and a Pistol Grip Shifter. All this horsepower and torque is put to the pavement through a 'Sure Grip' Posi Differential with a 3.55:1 gear ratio. The original 340 6-Pack motor is in storage and comes with the car. This AAR's overall body lines, gaps and fit and finish are excellent considering it was done more than 12 years ago. Her exterior is finished in the beautiful and correct Blue Fire Metallic with a Black Vinyl Top all wrapped around the stunning Black High Back Bucket seat interior with a Wood Grain Center Console.
