Up for auction is a 1981 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with 75,822 original miles .It was recently used in the first episode of the FX tv series "The Americans"as well as a few other episodes ! The car was elderly owned most of its life ,it starts right up and runs and shifts smooth and quiet, it has been very reliable in the time that i have owned it and everything works except the A/C. the body is in good condition with a few surface rust spots,and a few dents/dings, the driver door has been replaced at some point before i got it and it has rust on the lower edge,and a few spots of surface rust starting, pass side door also has rust on lower edge, frame is excellent, paint is original except the paintwork on front driver side fender and door. The original paint is weak ,tires are good,interior is clean ,but needs headliner replaced,the original space saver spare is in the car as well as the jack, i have included an extra full size spare in the trunk. I hate to sell this car because it runs so well but I have way too many cars (22) and need to sell a few in the next month -a '91 saab 900 is next.
