I purchased this Foreman for my collection as I have yet to see a 17-year-old Honda Foreman this flawless. This is not reconditioned, it is original. If you are a collector or simply want a near mint Honda Foreman to look at and ride, here it is. Here are the details: • 1996 Honda Foreman TRX400FWT 4x4 • one owner, all original, and in near mint condition • five speed semi-automatic (foot shift) transmission with reverse and low first gear • four-stroke engine w/ fan cooling • electric start • full-time four-wheel-drive • shaft drive • dual sealed front hydraulic drum brakes and sealed rear drum brake • front/rear cargo racks • trailer hitch with 850 lb. towing capacity • this model has no factory odometer There are no mechanical/electrical issues with this machine and it operates as new. The brakes grab quickly and function as new. Cosmetically, this machine is nearly flawless. It has very minimal scuffs on the rear fenders from on/off wear. The plastics located under the rear rack (near the center) have been dulled by a rear storage bag that was on the rack. There are no deep scratches and no cracks. The left front mud guard has a minor blemish as shown. Tires show approximately 95% tread life remaining and the tire centers still retain the mold separation marks. Some of the inner fenders still have the factory decals that state RIGHT FENDER etc. The stainless exhaust still looks new. This Foreman received the mid-1990’s Honda safety upgrade and contains the rear brake light and the keyed headlight switch (always on when key is on). There is no rust or fading on this Foreman as it was stored inside its entire life. The rear hitch is missing the load capacity decal. I removed it for replacement as it was scratched. I will include a new OEM sticker if requested. This Foreman will include the original owners manual, riders guide, battery maintainer, and Honda warranty booklet. It contains the original signed owners ID card as well. The tool kit is included and it has never been opened prior to my inspection. This is an AS IS sale and shipping responsibility is on the buyer. I encourage local interest to see this machine in person. I will assist with pick-up if need be and I do recommend Daily Direct – Haul Bikes should it need to be transported. Bidders with a zero (0) rating will be deleted without a prior phone call to me for reference. Maine does not title ATV’s so this machine will come with a certified dealers purchase order/bill of sale. Maine residents must pay 5% sales tax of purchase price. A $500 dollar deposit is due within 48 hours of auction close via PayPal or other means agreed upon between MacWorthRV and the buyer. The remainder of the purchase price is due by cashiers check, cash, or wire transfer within 5 days of auction close. US bidders only.
