Up for auction is a beautiful 1997 Ford Escort LX.The vehicle is equipped with a split port injection 2.0 motor and a 5 speed manual transmission. It runs and drives great with no mechanical issues. The 4 door sedan features cloth interior, dual front air bags and child safety door locks in the rear of the vehicle. Recent repairs done to the vehicle include: front brakes, inner tie rod ends, outer tie rod ends, left front lower ball joint, 4 Tires, new alternator and battery. This was a one owner vehicle that was taken well care of; the oil and filter was changed every 4 thousand miles. However, the vehicle has 206,409 miles and the left rear fender is starting to rust. The radio and rear defrost grid are both inoperative at this time and it is being sold in as is condition.
