You are bidding on a 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback. It is originally an "S" code GT with a C6 automatic. It still retains its original Power disc brakes, power steering, 9" rear end, and GT badging. It has had the original engine changed out with a 1970 351 Cleavland 4V engine, and C6 automatic. The car appears to have an older amatuer restoration on it. The floors have been patched, but it has very nice torque boxes, wrap around shock towers, front and rear frame rails, and overall body structure. The car will need the trunk to quarter drops fixed, they have a small amount of rust in them and the front aprons were cut out for access to the engine. They have a hole about the size you can stick you hand through. It was cut out, not rusted. The rest of the car is in good shape. The exterioir has a base clear paint job, it has some body work showing through on the passenger side quarter, front bottom section of drivers door, and has a dent in the drivers quarter, all pictured below. The car runs, drives and stops well. Engine has plenty of power, power steering works good and, has a healthy sounding exhuast on it. The interior is original standard interior. The fold down back seat is in great shape, and functions properly. The carpet in nice, front buckets are nice but appear to be out of a 65 mustang and does not have the correct syle material on them. The dash is in good shape. good headliner. All of the glass is in great shape. All of the electrical works good including the original GT fog lights and turn signal hood lights. All in all car is a 20 footer, nice cruiser and should please any enthusiast. To the collector is carries a great set of numbers and could potentially bring a lot more if restored correctly.
