Vehicle Detail
Welcome back to CarsandDogs1970 where we have a beautiful 1956 Chevy for you. We also specialize in the cheapest shipping on earth. Apparently this car was in near mint condition when it was unceremoniously parked 15 years ago. A man had cherried it out and sold it to his young nephew for a good deal. When we found this car, it had become the lowest priority to all parties involved. We contacted the owner's father who was quick to work out a deal and tell us some of the history. I will add also that the father was quite the ladies man and women were checking in and checking him out as we spoke. It was quite a scene as we unearthed the classic chevy from its long dormancy. The whole neighborhood came out and kicked tires, helped push, and listened to the old man tell his stories. The car has had the radiator stolen. The rear of the car was scorched and the paint peeled off. The car used to be a wonderful sea foam green before its transition to race car red. The interior was classy in red velvet. The front seats have disappeared. The engine is a 350 and I believe the transmission is as well. I have not tried to fire up the engine and hopefully I will by the auction's close. We have a great platform for a wonderful project. These cars are an American Icon. This restoration project will give you great fulfillment upon completion. There is a great after market support for these simple, elegant automobiles. We have sold a half dozen of these at this point and this one is the best yet. Please check our feedback and know that we will delivery the car you want. On Mar-15-13 at 21:00:15 PDT, seller added the following information: Armed with a little sand paper and a new key switch the 56 Chevy grumbled to life. It ran well for the moments I could spoon feed fuel down the carb and with my partners help I should be able to get it to run for longer. This is a good car that was restored at one time. I believe it will move around under its own power. Thanks for tuning in car buffs.
