Vehicle Detail

This is one of the 1,510 XJSC V12 built in 1987. It is an original and unmolested, well cared for vehicle. The XJ-SC, is also known as a 2 door Targa Convertible. The coupé's rather small rear seats were eliminated making it only a 2-seat car. The XJ-SC was not a full convertible but has a non-removable centre targa-type structure and fixed cant rails above the doors. The rear quarter windows remained as well. Data for Jaguar XJ-SC Cabriolet, model year 1987, version for North America U.S. with 2-door convertible body type, RWD (rear-wheel drive) and automatic 3-speed gearbox. Basic specs and characteristics: petrol (gasoline) engine of 5343 cm3 / 326 cui displacement with advertised power 195.5 kW / 262 hp / 266 PS ( SAE net ) / 5000 and 393 Nm / 290 lb-ft / 3000 of torque. Dimensions: this model outside length is 4869 mm / 191.7 in, it’s 1793 mm / 70.6 in wide and has wheelbase of 2591 mm / 102 in. The value of a drag coefficient, estimated by a-c, is Cd = 0.42 . Fuel consumption and mileage: official: 13/17 mpg (U.S.), 18.1/13.8 l/100km, 15.6/20.3 mpg (imp.), 5.5/7.2 km/l EPA ratings , average estimated by a-c: 18.3 l/100km / 15.4 mpg (imp.) / 12.8 mpg (U.S.) / 5.5 km/l, average estimated combined driving range of this car is 497 km / 308 miles (Data from automobile-catalog) I bought the car 4 years ago from a Lady in California who said to be the second owner. It has been a Sunday driver for me, it still has California plates but I now reside in Texas. I have not taken it out on the Highways, only short drives in town. I replaced several hoses that were cracked and started dripping. It is in general good condition keeping in mind that this is a 25 year old vehicle. There is a tiny rust spot on the side which I try to show it in the pictures. The previous owner had replaced the original radio with an after market, which was later stolen. I have the original radio but did not get to install it. I have the hard top too, it may require additional shipping as it may be hard to fit it inside the car if it is being shipped on a truck. Local buyers are welcome to test drive (by appointment only). Engine starts fast and does not over heat, it will soon need brakes to be checked. Take a look at the pictures, if you have any questions, please ask before bidding, the car is sold as is, where is and does not have a warranty. Due to the limited number produced, the Cabriolet may soon become a classic. Bid now !! Low Reserve !!
