Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1967 Firebird Convertible. This car has a 455 engine and 2 speed Powerglide trans. It was in running, driving condition. over a year ago,now it needsa battery, maybe newer gas, maybe coil, etc ,"cranks but won't start so my freind says"The brakes worked fine and the engine was runnning strong. last year when i put in a new distributer cap and rotor, pick up assy and a few other things, IMPORTANT: This car is being sold with out a title. ebay will not let me put in "no title"The car is free and clear and the vin is not in file. I was told ,I purchased the car with a bill of sale and that is how I am selling it. There is a company called Broadway Title that will issue you a title, or your state may only need the bill of sale. such is the case in georgia and other southern states for cars as old as this, This car has a power top, the glass goes up and down, and it is strong as an ox. The quarters were supposedly replaced 4 years ago and for the most part this is a solid bird. It does need sanded and painted and it will need a complete interior restoration. The seats and door panels pictured come with it,they were purchased on ebay after i bought the car, white recovered, which was the original color interior for this car, spent a $1000.00 on those, A previous owner at some point had an amp under the seat got hot and burned the foam and seat cover. The lights front and rear work, and the front windshield was replaced with new glass. She will take some doing but the metal is good and it was running and driving so this would be a very easy car to finish up. Included but not pictured is the rear bumper and some extra parts.the frame is good and solid engine is what i believe after researching block and casting #'s a 70 455 possibly from a 70 gto, maybe an HO,didnt check out the block #'s and vin fully, bought the car a few years ago to restore, sat at a friend's house in south mississippi for 2 years and still is so that is the location of the car, sorry for the few pics as i am currently deployed overseas,i recently bpought another 67 firebird conv 90% restored so i will let this one go,i have over $6000.00 into it ,400 hood as can be seen in pics,i think it's an original 400 hood no scoops, but not from this car,i have a copy of the PHS report,it was a 326 v8 car originaly verdado green with white parchment interior, and top,2 speed powerglide trans and rear seem original,i can notarize a bill of sale, the car can be shipped from south miss, shipping at buyers expense, help loading can be arranged,i was going to restore it but my luck changed and was fortunate enough to find a better one for a lot more money of course!,i did look it over the frame was solid, rear trunk where most of the old verts rot out,i think with a little work and $ it could be a driver soon This is the information from the cowl tag: 385 05B 67-22467 LOR 3079 254-Z Q1 D 2WGS 4F
