I have a 1975 Honda CB550, engine runs, good New Mexico title, new ignition switch. I have the whole motorcycle. Has been laid over(dents on mufflers, gas tank and bent handbrake /clutch) I fixed it up and had confidence to ride it on a 100 mile trip plus other trips. Then the motorcycle sat in the weather for about a year(things are sticking now) This bike is selling only“as is.” Good parts bike only. E-mail me for any further questions. Asking 550.00. I have a 1974 Honda tank that will fit it (it just needs painted) and the side covers need resurfaced and painted. the only thing i know that is missing is the battery strap and the ignition switch is not original."550 F "is labeled on the side covers. On Mar-12-13 at 20:51:13 PDT, seller added the following information: the bike does seep oil at the engine head. you can buy a rebuild kit for about 60.00(ebay). As far as i know nothing needs replaced to run the bike. Today i just had it on the road for about 8 miles. the only things i noticed were the bumps from the front tire needing centered in the rim(it has a slow leak and sat on the rim for a while) and the back brake is hanging up somewhat. carbs were just cleaned but engine has a sputter on idle. rear tire yoke I think needs spacers or just greased. new tires-carbs rebuilt about 3 years ago-lights all work-brakes all work-transmission goes through all the gears-engine runs pretty good. the bike is in working order but needs cosmetic attention. extra gas tank goes with the bike. I will be at home on Saturday for pickup.
