Here we have up for sale a 2009 Honda Civic EX-L Coupe that was a Hurricane Sandy victim. Shipped up to Syracuse, NY from the New York City region strictly for resale purposes. We buy cars to sell, not to fix. There were absolutely zero attempts made to start this car after the flood occured. The transmission was put into neutral and it was loaded onto a truck and unloaded at our lot. The car is in really nice shape with only one dent visible on the driver's side quarter panel. This is the EX-L model with leather, power windows, power locks, A/C, cruise control, power mirrors, CD player, premium sound, alloy wheels, an automatic transmission, and a 4-cylinder motor. We only received one key with the car upon delivery. Fluids still have not been drained, the battery has not yet been replaced (No attempts to get the car running). There is no water in the oil of the engine. Repairs to start the car are required. It may be as simple as putting new fluids in and a new battery. At the worst case scenario, we have previous customers tell us that they have replaced the electronic harnesses and have gotten them started. We have multiple flooded vehicles that we re-distribute to the public. The car comes with an MV-907 certificate and is ready to be transferred to the new owner.
