Vehicle Detail

1983 GMC K2500 4x4 long bed. 57,000 miles Great truck that you could drive every day or use as a solid work truck. 5,000 miles on rebuild. I did the rebuild with the intention to to keep this truck forever But now we are moving and I must sell a couple vehicles. Truck has been garaged since I owned it and I believe it was before I bought it also. Truck runs great and has lots of new parts. I completely went through it. New GM 350 crate engine, new built 700R4 transmission, rebuilt transfer case, new tires, new serpentine belt system, new alternator, new water pump, new power steering pump, new aluminum radiator, new battery, new electric fans, new fuel pump, new Edelbrock carb, new Edelbrock intake manifold, new full length headers, new transmission cooler, new extra capacity aluminum transmission pan, new front one ton springs, new rear 5000lb air bags, aluminum tool box. I completely went through the Fisher plow last year. Cost me $1000. Sand blasted, painted, new cylinders, looks great. This is an extra vehicle for me that I use to carry things occasionally and to plow my own driveway only. When I bought it I was told the vehicle was an extra vehicle for the owners father since new and had always been garaged. I can't confirm that but it is in much better shape than other trucks of the same year. Dashpad is in perfect shape. These are usually cracked which tells me it was garaged. The owner told me the mileage at the time was accurate, 52,000 miles. I never checked into this. Only thing it really needs is an exhaust. When I put the new drivetrain in, the exhaust was looking pretty good so I reused it. It now is in need of replacement. Inspection sticker is current. Since I bought it has also had a busted lug nut stud, never been a problem. It does have a small dent behind one of the rear wheels from the previous owner. Title in hand
