NICE!!! This is a early datsun 260z, L28 block with nissan comp. flat top pistons, E-31 240z head with swirl port valves, Green stripe cam, triple minuni carb's, panasport 15x7" wheels 225/50/15 rear and 205/50/15 front , centerforce 2 clutch, tilton flywheel, tokico struts, aluminized exhaust with dynomax muffler. RARE factory air conditioner, green paint with tan carpet and black seats. Everything works except the clock and none of those ever worked. The body and floors are solid with no rust. It is very fast, i have a 3:71 ratio r-200 limited slip rear end that can go with it, I don't street race like i used too or don't plan on autocrossing it so i have the original rear end in it now, the tall gear works great for weekend trips along the blueridge parkway. Put the limit slip rear end in it and holy shit... V8's can't touch it around town!!! The suspension is right and tight also. I used to race scca back in the 80's and 90's and build datsun z cars as a hobby, I built hundred's of motors for people all over the country, I built this car almost 20 years ago as my personal street burner and a co-worker had to have it so i sold it to him. He put only 527 miles on it during that time!!!! It stayed in his climate controlled garage on jack stands with wheels removed under a cover and every month or so he would take it out for a short ride and fresh gas and then put it back. Long story short i now have it back, I don't want to sell it again but i have a business that is working me to death and i don't have a good place to keep it. I am hesitantly going to advertise it here on EBAY to see if the right person would like to have it... Hopefully somebody that i can stay in touch with and then end up with it again in the future. I have seen a few nice early z cars on ebay but in my opinion nothing that even comes close to this one. The pictures and description pretty much tell the story but if you have questions please ask. positive feedback is important. I would prefer local pickup so we can spend time together going all over the car but i can help with shipping if you need it.
