DO NOT LET THE MILES FOOL YOU - read the description! THIS CAR IS READY TO DRIVE! CURRENTLY REGISTERED, INSURED, INSPECTED - just register it and drive! I have bought a new car, so my Saturn wagon must go to make room! This is a 1997 Saturn SW2 (SW = station wagon), DOHC 5-speed manual, 31 mpg, 202k hwy miles, ice cold A/C, power locks, manual windows, cruise control. Gold w/very clean tan cloth interior. Over the past month, I've invested a LOT of money in repairs to the car, as I drive 100 miles per day to and from work. Over $6,000 invested, own it for much less. DRIVETRAIN: COMPLETELY REBUILT ENGINE - head rebuilt with new valve seals, angle valve job, bottom end cleaned, honed, painted, new rings/bearings, all new gaskets/seals, powdercoated brackets, manifolds, etc. All work professionally completed by reputable local machines shop (receipts for all work performed). Spare intake camshaft installed in place of exhaust camshaft for better breathing and acceleration. New timing chain, tensioner, gears. Resurfaced flywheel by same shop. Pistons and rods cleaned and checked. Relief holes drilled behind oil rings in pistons (left out during manufacturing, a Saturn weak point that causes oil consumption) Crankshaft cleaned and polished. Top shelf parts (Sealed Power, Victor Reinz) installed. Synthetic oil used after break-in mileage. BRAND NEW: Clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing Shifter cables (OEM) Fuel filter, rebuilt injectors PCV valve (OEM), spark plugs/wires, air filter, serpentine belt Radiator, thermostat, water pump, radiator cap, coolant temperature sensor, all cooling hoses, complete drain/fill with new Dex-Cool Starter w/warranty Battery w/2 year warranty Full exhaust from manifold back - Magnaflow downpipe/catalytic converter, new Bosch oxygen sensor, new mid pipe and new muffler, all new hangers All new engine mounts (4 total) SUSPENSION: Monroe Quick-Struts - front and rear, includes struts, coil springs, strut tops/bearings Rear sway bar links Front sway bar bushings Front brake calipers, pads, rotors Four recent Michelin all-season tires, approximately 50% tread remaining, full four wheel alignment by a Saturn master tech EXTERIOR: 35% tint professionally installed by Sonny's Glass in Saugus Washed at least once/week HID headlight conversion (stock bulbs included) Rainx wipers front/rear, just installed INTERIOR: Replaced steering wheel with leather-wrapped Saturn SC2 steering wheel Note: The front right wheel bearing is making some slight noise.
