*********************************READ THE DESCRIPTION VERY CAREFULLY*************************** Up for bid is my 1957 Willys CJ5. This has the Buick Dauntless V6 oddfire engine. Has a 3 speed manual transmission and a twin stick transfercase. This jeep runs, and can be test driven but will need to be finished up. I have the pink slip on hand and has new plates from the dmv. I am unable to finish because i am currently remodeling a home, and will be moving therefore i dont have the time to finish or deal with the jeep right now. Pics of the engine and under carriage are current pics...that is what it looks like right now.. Engine runs and can be driven for test drives. Transmission shifts fine in all gears, and the 4wd works. The engine is old but still has alot of power and torque. The jeep would need the following item to be finished: * Needs front seat brackets fabricated * Needs front marker lights * Needs a turn signal * Needs a tune up * Needs the headlights, brake lights, gauges etc wired up * Needs seat belts * Recommend to check the brakes and repack the bearings The paint job on this jeep is not perfect, the body on the jeep is not perfect. This is a 56 year old jeep, so do not expect a show room condition. If you do not have mechanical skills, then this jeep is not for you. Due to inexperienced bidders who do not read the full description, I will require a $500 NON REFUNDABLE deposit at the end of auction. I will not release, and you can not pick up the jeep until i have the deposit. I am requiring this deposit because i do not have time to waste. I just sold my house and will need to move in to my new home which i am currently remodeling. So please, before you bid, read the entire description or contact me so i can show you the jeep so we do not waste each others time.
