1981 Mercedes Benz 240d 4 speed in excellent running condition. Has a dent on the passenger side doors and the usual MB rust at the jack points, wheel well and trunk, however, is watertight inside. Rust in floor pans cut out and replaced. New windscreen, alternator, shocks, tires and grill. Needs a new clutch, throwout bearing and pressure plate. Pictures are representative of overall vehicle condition except the following: Grill has been replaced and tint(not great to begin with) has been removed from front windows. I am NOT interested in shipping the vehicle overseas! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not ask! I accept Paypal and cash. That having been said, I will put it on a car dolly and deliver it up to 100 miles for a nominal fee. For delivery, 50% of the purchase price plus the delivery fee must be paid in advance. If you don't like it upon arrival, I just made 50% and a delivery fee for free! None of us has time for games. This is a great runner and will give someone years of trouble free service once the clutch etc has been repaired. It was my daily driver for over three years and I put approximately 600 miles on it a week without incident. I don't really want to sell it but there is not time enough in the day for family, business and turning wrenches so something has to go...too expensive to get rid of the wife! The odometer is 198500...not 190000, the grill has been replaced and it I forgot that it has the more expensive aluminum rims, not steel with covers. I'm Looking for the steel covers.
