Here is a 1975 Toyota FJ40 in very good condition. Rare four speed transmission with factory PTO winch. Odometer showing 96,139 miles. FJ spent 13 years in a barn. Otherwise, it appears to have spent considerable time in Colorado and Montana. Very clean, unrestored condition with minimal rust. Perfect glass all around and a very straight body. Brand new wheels and tires, front seats newly recovered, factory Toyota floor mat, off road jack, off road bumpers front and rear, new dash cover, locking tool box, replaced top. I used a spray on bed/boat coating inside and out on top. Turned out decent. Not my best project but not bad. Orginal engine with Weber carb and factory air filter setup. FJ has several modifications/add ons including: ARB air lockers front and rear, on-board compressor, lift, Toyota mini truck power steering, auxillary fuel tank (not sure if it is hooked up) full roll cage, solid state ignition of some sort (see pics) and shoulder belts in front. Everything works on this FJ. Horn, speedometer, parking brake, dash lights, interior light, signals, heater, and CB radio. Drives great (for a 75 FJ!) cruises comfortably at 55 MPH. Drives very straight. PTO winch is amazingly strong. Overall this is a very cool land cruiser with nice character and "patina". I love it in it's unrestored condition but would make a good candidate for a complete frame-up restoration I suppose. Does not smoke or use oil. Needs a front axle or differential seal kit currently.
