Vehicle Detail
If you are looking for something different to stand out in, this is it. This is my 1959 Edsel Ranger, the "Sledsel". This was a one owner car when I purchased it with only 51,200 original miles. Car has around 52200 currently but is driven daily so milage may increase. This car even has the factory keys and keychain. 223 6 cylinder starts right up every morning and runs smooth and quiet. No leaks or issues. 3 speed column shift is smooth and clutch feels very good. The car runs and drives perfect. Since I bought it I have installed many new parts. I replaced ALL (4) wheel cylinders, brake shoes and hardware, brake switch, fuel sending unit and heater blower. EVERYTHING in and on this car works. Gauges, lights and so on. The car is lowered by using brand new coil springs shocks from a 1990 Ford Aerostar mini van. Rear is 3" lowering blocks. Car sits LOW and still rides very nice! No steering issues. Coker Classic wide white walls are VERY low milage too. 90% tread with just some minor dry cracks on outer sidewalls. Old school ripple hub caps. Body has some paint flaking and cracking on the trunk lid and deck lid from some old body work starting to crack. Several places on the car could be fixed to make it super sharp. Floor pan is rust free. Trunk area appears to be very solid as well. Also the car has scratches and chips here and there all over. Still looks very nice for a daily driver and weekend show car. NOT restored. Just a reliable old car to load up in and cruise. Any other questions, feel free to ask anytime: (812)631-9244 If you are local you are welcome to come and inspect the car in person. We can take it out for a drive!! Video on youtube.com under: 1959 "Sledsel"
