1988 CR500. very nice bike. lots of custom work.completely rebuilt. has a lot more power than your average CR500. it is in very good condition, especially for a 1988. the bike still has original seat and plastics. the seats has no rips in it. the plastics are scratched up but it doesnt show in the photos. if you put new plastics on it the bike it would look amazing and it would only cost $100.00. i did buy new radiator shroud CR500 decals for it but they did not come in the mail yet. they will be included with the bike. they are just like the OEM decals from the factory. this bike is ready to ride and needs nothing.i have done all that it needed and more. tires are new and have one ride on them. frame was powder coated honda red. everything torn down and rebuilt from frame. has inverted fork off a 2000 CR500. new rear shock( $800.00). all new engine bearings, crank bearings. new chain and sprockets. engine work was done at Boyesen. new high compression racing piston and rings, new racing clutch, head and cylinder blue printed, ported, milled, and polished. new custom racing boyesen reed valve for mikuni carb. new pro circuit pipe. all new swing arm bushings. this bike has been completely gone through with a lot of engine upgrades. thousands went into this bike. its is hard to start because piston only has a couple of hours on it. it has lots of compression. you need to know what you are doing to start this bike. if you buy this bike and cant start it then it is not my responsibility. i highly recommend wearing motorcross boots when starting it. this thing is scary fast, simply put. it has way too much power for me. it does start right up and runs very well. you will blow away any dirtbike out there with this bike. stock HP on this bike is around 60HP but this bike has more. bike is sold as is. no warranty. comes with original owners manual. im more than happy to work with a shipper to get this bike to you. buyer pays for all shipping costs. there are many motorcycle shipping companies. i use DAS a lot. you can google motorcycle shippers.
