273 V8 4 BBL. Rebuilt 2005 / 15k ago. 180HP, 260lb torque. Mileage Approximate. PARTIALLY FLOODED IN SANDY but spent 2K to restore - fully drained and dried out and running, all electrical connections cleaned, carb rebuilt, floor rust treated. Carpets have NOT been restored. Features include: “Torque Flite” automatic transmission; restored limited-slip rear axle; power brakes and steering; remote control mirror; bucket seats; console; “scorch red” exterior, “red” interior, black top with glass rear window. Front fender turn indicator lights. Have replaced/refurbished many components since 2005, when I bought it to include the gas tank, master cylinder, mounts, bearings, fan, etc. Radio replaced with CD/AM/FM with kick panel speakers. Fully functional potential show car, though this is not “original” and has been modified to assume the “bumble bee” look of 1968 complete with side running lights. Outdoor photos show Cuda hubcaps - now has moons and rims. The body was more or less fully restored inside and out when I got it in 2005 though the paint now shows some wear and there is some slight rust bubble under the doors. Top is solid. Gas gage does not work (has not since I bought it), but all other instrumentation functional though the heat gage is not stock. Trunk spring is weak and so trunk currently needs to be propped open. The brake light switch only works intermittently so you may want to flatbed this. Few other small quirks and blemishes as with any vintage car - come take a look and a drive.
