Up for sale is my 1999 Nissan Altima. For a 14 year old car it is in really great mechanical condition. Ive had this car since November 2008. And Ive only put 10,000 miles on it in those four years. I drive it maybe two or three times a week to go around the corner to the supermarket, Kmart, shopping, etc. And thats about it. It is mechanically sound and should not have any problems passing inspection. It always starts up and idles perfectly. Engine is very quiet like a Nissan should be, and it still runs strong. Transmission shifts smoothly. It gets about 30 mpg and only requires 87 octane. Leather interior is in great shape with no rips or anything. It also has four new speakers. In the four years Ive driven it, Ive never had any mechanical problems. I only had to replace the drivers side window switch. It is a 14 year old car so its not perfect. The few things are minor. The back springs squeak when going over a speed bump. Im pretty sure they just need to be lubed because it only happens in the winter. The back quarter window needs to be replaced from an attempted theft. And there are a few scratches that can be easily buffed out. With gas about to be $4 a gallon and it being tax season. Altimas, with this year, mileage, and condition, are selling for $5000. And that does not include taxes and fees. It's priced to sell at $3500. No dealer fees, paper work fees, or high taxes.
