For Sale is a beautiful 1948 Chevrolet Thriftmaster 1 ton truck. It has a "stove-bolt" six cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission. While it was equipped with a beet box when new, it now has a 1954 military "105" box (without hoist). We are the second family to own this truck since new! Within the last month, I have put on a new water pump, new brake master cylinder, new battery, and new fuel pump (6-volt electric). While dual 18 inch rear Budd wheels go with the sale, it currently has 8 bolt singles on the rear. The rear window is missing, as is the "cardboard" headliner and door panels.
