Note: This New Beetle has a bad transmission and it needs to be replaced, the windshield is cracked (not from an accident), the rear windows need regulator repair kits installed in order to make them operable, part of the rear window needs to be re-sealed, and the driver side door does not stay open on its own. The car does start and the engine runs. The transmission problem is the same that you can read about on the VW forums regarding the throttle body. It needs to be replaced. If you are mechanically inclined you can make some money off of this car. Blue Book in good condition is $5000.00. I don't have the time to replace the transmission at this time but if I don't sell the car then I plan to wait until I can and sell it running.
