Classic 1970 Ford Torino You are bidding on a Classic 1970 Ford Torino Formal Hardtop. This good looking machine houses a 302 V-8 with 220-hp under its hood backed by an automatic transmission. Engine has only 88,889 original miles on it and is presently on its third owner. This classic Torino is a wonderful collectable car that would be a great addition to any classic cars collector or Ford enthusiast. This car has all the basic bones needed to fully restore it back to pristine condition. Interior front and rear seats are in good condition, back seat looks as though no one has even ever sat in it. Front side door panels, dash, and steering wheel will need some work and there is some cracking to the dash and steering wheel which I have included in the photos. There is some minor rust spots on the body, which I have included photos of as well, however these areas could be fixed easily by anyone with a little bit of body work knowledge. Car is not presently running as it has been sitting since I purchased it. I had planned on restoring the car with my grandson, but unfortunately am unable to complete the restoration due to health issues. Motor has run in the past, but the distributor was removed to aid in removal of the thermostat; due to health issues I am not able to reinstall the distributor to get the car running again. Car has power brakes, power steering, and A/C. I do not know if the A/C works on the car as again it has been sitting. Car is being sold in AS IS Condition. I have described the good and bad to the best of my abilities. Keep in mind you are buying the car as it sits with no warranty expressed or implied, no refunds or exchanges. Bidding starts at $900. Remaining balance is due within 7 Days of auction end and must be paid in cash upon pickup or before pickup VIA PayPal.
