This is a rare bike. The factory sent out sport dress up kits to replace the bread box gas tanks and replaced it with the 1969 Triumph Trident got the factory dress-up kit, with teardrop tank, convex side covers & proper silencers (mufflers). This 1969 Triumph T140 Trident got the optional dress-up kit, replacing the quirky styling with more traditional Triumph cues. I am getting married and the project has come to a halt. I have new pipes and mufflers for the bike. I have all of the parts for the air filter. I have one new tire and extra set of NOS front and rear rims. The bike is beautiful as is but I have attached pics of how the bike looks restored. Triumph came out with a dress-up kit that was sold through dealers & could be dealer-installed or installed by the owner, that went a long way toward fixing the horrid styling. It included a new teardrop tank (in typical Triumph style), new convex side covers & a new set of conventional mufflers (silencers). While many kits were sold, it didn't do much to shore up the weak sales of the Triumph Trident. The three pictures are of a restored bike, not this one...but it could look like that if you took the time and brought it back to life. I am moving and only will list the bike for 3 days.
