Up for bid is this 1979 Jeep CJ7. Good condition, runs very strong, sounds great and drives very well. Lots of time and money have been invested in this CJ. The body is a 4 Wheel Drive Hardware fiberglass tub with tilt front end, the frame is very nice and solid with only rust at the tips of the tube bumpers. A chevy 350 V8 crate motor has been installed that has less than 15,000 miles. Runs very strong and doesn't blow smoke. New starter, alternator, clutch, flywheel, aluminum radiator, fan, 2.5" exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers, new front brakes, new u-joints. The trans is a 3 speed manual. Have added new engine gauges and all are in working order. If you view the pictures of the engine gauges, those are when the vehicle is running and at operating temps. The odometer reads 33,323 but not for sure how accurate that is. The top is a "Best Top" soft top that is only about 3 years old without any rips or tears. The windows are nice and clear. Also comes with a bikini top that is in nice condition. The tires are BF Goodrich 33x12.5 R15 All Terrains that have less than 800 miles on them. Suspension is a Rough Country 4" suspension lift. The back seat is a flip and tumble that is in nice shape. The drivers seat has a tear in the side that you climb in. But other than that very nice. Passenger seat is a fold forward and is in nice shape. Wipers, lights, fan blower all work. We've had plenty of fun on the weekends with the Jeep and was last driven off road in November. Hasn't been a winter driven vehicle on the salt covered roads. We'll miss it when it's gone. The Jeep is also for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early.
