Selling my 1965 Barracuda with Original Commando 273-4v Engine and Original Documented Mileage of about 88,700 miles from new. The Original Owner selected the Options he wanted, and specially ordered this Barracuda September 25, 1964. He took delivery of the Barracuda on November 16, 1964. Although this is not a Formula S model, it is factory equipped with the same engine, and is unusually Optioned. Commando Engine 4-speed Transmission with factory Hurst shifter Air Conditioning AM Radio Padded Dash Power Steering Deluxe Seat Belts front & rear, Retractable Back up lights Sure Grip Tinted Glass Bumper Guards, Front & Rear W/S washer Remote Control Mirror Day Night Mirror Power Brakes Other Options not listed specifically on the Purchase Agreement, Front Sway Bar, Underhood Pad. This Barracuda is unusual, as it is highly Documented. It has always been meticulously maintained and shows pride of ownership. The Documents include the following: Original Purchase Agreement, Original Invoice, Original Cancelled Checks, Original Registration, Original Inspection/Registration Cards from new, Original letters sent by Original Owner to Chrysler Plymouth with questions and requests, Original letters of response back from Chrysler with original dated envelopes included. Also included are repair and maintenence receipts, Original Mileage log book with milegage of every gas fill up and repair from new! Also includes Original keys, Original Certicard, and Original Owners Manual specific to this Car! Originally Purchase from JOHN H. KOEGLER, INC. Factory Authorized Dealer Chysler-Imperial-Valiant-Plymouth in Bala, Cynwd, PA Original Owner moved to California in 1970, and the car has been here ever since. The Barracuda was owned by the same family up until about 6 years ago. After the passing of the Original Owner, the Barracuda was passed to his Son and his wife. They put only about 500 miles on it in their ownership, it was mostly on Non-Operation during these years. This Barracuda is mostly Original. Original Paint, Interior including Seat Covers, Carpet and Headliner. Only Maintenence items have been replaced. I have a Complete 5 piece Exhaust System for the Commando Performance Pack which I will make available to sell seperately from the Vehicle. Purchase price of Barracuda, if it sells, does not include these parts. This Exhaust System was special to the Commando Engine equipped Barracuda, Valiant, & Dodge Dart Cars that had the Power Pak, it had a unique sound and was commented favorably in the Car & Driver & Road & Track Reviews of that time period. The NOS exhaust system includes Resonator with Chrome rectangular tip, NOS Muffler, Tail Pipes, & Y Exhaust Pipe (the Resonator and Muffler still in Original boxes).
