The car is a 100% rust free California car. The engine starts right up and is quiet as a mouse. The idle speed is smooth and the acceleration is positive. The transmission shifts right on time through all the gears. The entire drive-train is solid and tight. The brakes, steering and suspension are all in good working condition. This car runs and operates extremely well. All mechanical,electrical and climate control systems operate like they should. The air conditioning is not cold and needs to be serviced. All gages show normal readings. Cosmetically the car excels in so many ways. First off the body, chassis and frame are 100% rust free. The paint finish still has a nice luster, however there are several nicks, chips, dings, etc. Overall the appearance is exceptional. There are no major dents or damage. From what we understand the previous owner reported the passenger headlight fiberglass damage to there insurance company at that time the replacement panel, repair and paint exceeded the value of the car therefore it was branded with a salvaged title. The owner chose to continue to drive the car as-is with the hopes of the car increasing in value over time, which it has. The interior was redone nicely, "Monte Carlo" was embroidered on all four seats. The dash has a few hairline cracks. The carpeting, door panels etc, are in great shape for there age.
