NO RESERVE - Rare Triple Black Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D'Elegance, Moonroof, 62K up for auction. NO RESERVE, bid early and often, top bidder gets her! Highly sought after Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D'Elegance, fuel injected 4.1 V8 engine, 62k original miles. The Brougham D'Elegance was the absolute top of the line, this is from Wikipedia: "When the Sixty Special Series was retired in 1977, the Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham took its place as Cadillac's most luxurious owner-driven large sedan model through 1986. As it had been since the late Seventies, the optional "d'Elegance" package offered even more luxurious appointments, including tufted-button seating and rear-seat reading lamps.". The D'Elegance model is hard to come by, much more rare with the black on black color combination and power moonroof. Recent work on the Caddy includes new (not remanufactured) air conditioning compressor last summer, blows nice and cold as well as new water pump. Brakes done as well as full tuneup when I bought the car about 2 years ago. Everything works perfectly including cruise control, driver and passenger power seats, power retracting moonroof, tilting / telescoping wheel, power mirrors, all interior lights, remote trunk release / auto pulldown, auto dimming and sentinel headlights and all power windows. Climate control works properly through all vents, heat and a/c work as well as my new Nissan. Driver's door lock doesn't work with the power switch but can be put up and down by hand, power antenna replaced with fixed mast, reception is perfect on AM and FM. Nice modern cd player professionally installed with adapter kit, nothing cut, new speakers all around, sounds great. The paint is original but still shines up well, could use a compounding but a repaint would really do the Caddy justice. Two small dents, one on the back of driver's wheel well (a low concrete parking lot divider did it) and the other by the trunk lock, only visible up close. The chrome and stainless steel body trim are in great shape. Vinyl roof perfect, no tears or open seams. Interior is one of the nicest I've ever seen on a classic Cadillac, everything upholstered in black leather including doors and seats with tufted-button comfort, really nice to slide in and out of. The only flaw in the interior is a single sun crack in the center of the dashboard. The Caddy has a remote starter for those days that you'd like to get into a pre-heated or cooled car. The remote also pops the trunk. The remote starter includes two remotes and three sets of keys, really long range, you can start the car from way across a parking lot. The wheels and tires in the pix were very expensive and are not included, I have the original wheels and hubcaps in good shape. If you like the wheels in the pix I'll include them for an additional $1400 (I paid over $2700 for the set, wheels and tires only have about 2000 miles on them). The electronic overdrive allows the Caddy to get decent mileage on the highway, the digital display will show 18-20 mpg. Caddy is on the road with current NY State inspection, title in my name. Cruises nicely on the highway, holds the road perfectly, Engine runs incredibly quiet and smooth, tracks straight as an arrow and handles well for such a big car. She starts immediately even in cold weather, idles evenly, stops easily and the suspension is pure Cadillac luxury. Drives overall like an American classic should. Nice classic Cadillac which will only appreciate in value! Any questions feel free to call or email. 914-224-3230.
