Vehicle Detail
Nice running, unrestored, CB200T. I think I am the third owner. This is a nice , 38 year-old survivor, but not a show bike. Engine and transmission in great shape, all gauges, lights, signals, horn, brakes, clutch, and chrome in good shape. Side covers intact, but the CB200T badge paint is faded on both. Paint on tank is fair. There are a few small spots of rust on the outside of the tank, and a few spots where the pinstripes are not complete. There are a couple of small dings in the tank, too small to photograph well. No rust on the inside of the tank. The exhaust pipes are in good condition, and the chrome still looks good. They are pretty loud, though, so the baffles are not in great shape. Seat is in decent shape with no tears. The original toolkit and owner's manual are included, as well as a shop manual. Enduro tires are fitted and in good shape, but new street tires are included in the sale. I recently changed the oil and cleaned the centrifugal filter, which requires removal of the right-side engine case. At that time, I replaced all of the phillips-head fasteners on the engine cases with new chromed allen fasteners. I also replaced the front brake pads at that time, and fitted a new front brake cable. The bike is always garaged. I run it every couple of weeks for 15-20 miles, keeping the battery charged, the engine well-lubricated, and the fuel fresh. It's a bit cold-blooded , and the engine needs to warm on full choke for a few minutes before riding. It runs smoothly at all revs, and will easily hold 60mph on a rural highway. Top speed is about 70. I would not recommend running this bike on an interstate highway, even though it's legal. Please email me with any questions. In addition to the street tires, I am including a spare headlamp and all the original engine case fasteners (in case you want a completely original bike.) The bike is located in Marion, S.C.
