I am selling my 1963 Chevy II 300. It is a two door with the original 6 cylinder engine. I have stored it outside under tarps since 2002. Unfortunately the damp weather has taken a toll and there is rust on every surface that is not painted and surface rust on the original paint. It is a complete and original car. Everything was in working order before storage with a strong running engine. While getting it ready to sell, I discovered that the engine will not turn over and the brakes do not work. The original radio is not working. I suspect corrosion on the connecting wires. Various other electrical components are not working; I suspect for the same reason. The side molding is missing on both sides of the back half of the car and there is a dent in the driver's door. I have checked the floor panels for rust and found all of them completely solid however there is rust on the surface of three of them. The driver's panel is rust free. The passenger side rear is rusted through in spots visible from underneath the car but inside there is a professional patch of metal covering the rusted area that was riveted to the floor making it completely solid.The trunk is rust free and the gas tank is completely solid. The headliner has come apart at the center of the roof. The interior of the car was completely redone in 1987 and I have a receipt for the work. This was my Aunt's car bought new by her in 1963 and given to me when she could no longer drive. I have the Sale Contract and a letter sent to her by the dealership thanking her for the purchase. The engine has been rebuilt once under my Aunt's ownership but I don't know what the mileage was at the time. It is a truly sweet car but will need extensive restoration. It has a Nonoperated Vehicle Registration since 2005 and has not been driven since then. It has a clear title. I have tried to give a clear picture of the car's condition with the photographs that are included. I am relisting the car because of non-payment by the previous winning bidder. Please do not bid unless you have the funds available to complete the sale within the time limit. A deposit of $500.00 must be sent to my PayPal account within 48 hours of the close of auction. The final balance must be paid within 7 days of the close of auction. If you have less than 20 positive feedbacks, you must contact me before bidding or I will cancel your bid. I will only accept payment by Cashier's Check, Money Order or Cash.
