FOR SALE 1998 Ford E 250 Super Duty 15 Passenger Van This van is in great running condition.. Transmission is newly rebuilt which is our own standard at 150k miles on any vehicle in our fleet and has about 8,000 miles on it. It was used to service private schools and some airport shuttles... This van is a "Smoke Free vehicle all carpet has been replace 1 yr ago and new seat covers as well the seats are in good shape with resonable wear. all seat belts have been replaced with new ones. This van has a class 1 hitch can haul most any trailer. Your are buying a van that is maintained by certified mechanics. all parts replaced "NEW" I have had this van since 2007 and I swear I have very minimal repairs in those years this van has very low miles for the year 160k please keep in mind this van is still part of fleet and milleage may change but not much since we are past the holiday season... I hate to let it go because it is a runner. the engine starts right up "NO" ticking or "NO" smoking from the exhaust at all... as far as history I bought this van from the government so you can rest assure the van has been maintained. however 4 days ago we discovered that the heat only runs on high now have not had it in shop for that yet the key holes have singed so i will put lock thaw in them hopefully that will fix. The side slider door a passenger slammed the seatbelt in it and now it only opens from the inside. so the connection between the outside handle and the inner workings of the door has been compromised. I believe that door panel needs to be opened and reconect link. So if your looking for a good running van you found it.. By the way this van has never been in an accident that im aware of.. as far as rust it is very minimal under doors and is very normal considering its a 98...but not up the sides. The good thing is it has the chassis of a newer model with flat head beams instead of in my opinion the ugly sunk in head beams.
