Hey folks! This is a rare, rare find. Beautiful RARE, UNRESTORED, UNMOLESTED, BMW 1966 R69S. Time to thin the herd and share the love of owning a once in a lifetime motorcycle!. Just over 8,000 ORIGINAL miles and runs like the gorgeous machine it is. I am the second owner and have done nothing to it except a good cleaning and basic maintenance such as: replace all fluids, spline lube, check the slingers (they are spotless!), set the valves and timing, new plugs, new rubber bits (tires, pushrod seals, plug wires and shaft boot). I've put 2,000 smile-filled miles on this bike since it was pulled out of a garage after 40 years of collecting dust. (Rides always get interrupted by folks stopping me for a closer look at the bike!!) 1967 license plate and original owner documents included with bike. Stored in heated garage, never left outside. Just the original 'schwarz mit weiss' (black & white) color scheme. Both paint and pin stripes are in fantastic original condition. Matching serial numbers on frame and engine. Sidecar ready except for motor mount bolt (bolt was not shipped with factory original bikes - aftermarket add on) Price includes both dual and solo saddles, chrome luggage rack, cold weather leather control covers (They even have cutouts for the bar-end turn signals!), BMW sidestand (not shipped with bike from factory), original pump, keys) for handlebar lock, ignition and tool box) and a nice heavy duty cover.
