I'm the original owner of this excellent 1999 Saab 9-3 5-door hatchback. This has been a great car for my family, and we love its performance, versatility and fuel economy. I think you'll love it also. This car was maintained by a local Saab dealer until about 100k miles, and for the last 16k miles was maintained by a local Saab specialist. This car has been well maintained. All service is up to date, oil changes were performed every 5k miles (with synthetic oil), and all service recommended was performed. Body and interior are in great shape. There is no rust. Paint is still glossy. Tires are Nokian all-weather tires with plenty of tread left, so the car is great in snow. Interior is very good; no stains, rips or tears anywhere, although the drivers seat is showing some signs of cracking (see pictures). Issues: 1) the dash light bulb that illuminates the left side of the speedometer is out. The gauges all work fine, it's just that it's a little hard to see your speed when driving below 50. 2) the antenna does not fully retract or extend. The motor works fine, and radio reception is still good. I have a spare antenna mast but have not installed it. 3) The open/close flaps on the dash vents do not work; they're all open. The adjustments to direct the air work fine, though. All lights (except as noted above), switches and displays work. I have all the manuals, books, keys and service records for this car. It would be a great car for its next owner. I'm selling it because we purchased a newer car and this one has to go.
