Rare 1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst Edition In 1970, taking a cue from Oldsmobile a Chrysler 300 Hurst edition was offered. It was painted in spinwaker white and trimmed in satin tan Hurst colors. It came with a leather interior, power seats and windows and air conditioning. It is powered by a 375hp 440 cu in TNT V8. This car is registered with the Chrysler 300 club as an original Hurst edition. At the time of registration (12 years ago) it was one of 223 still known to exist. There were only 485 of these cars ever produced. This car is a real Chrysler 300 Hurst Edition with the correct drive train. I have owned this car for 12 years. Recently I have replaced the windshield wiper motor, rebuilt the left front window motor. The other window motors work but are slow. I have 3 new window motors that are included with the purchase of the car. The power front seat switches all work but are touchy. Headlight cover works going up but needs manual help to close. The Vacuum trunk release is in good working order. I have new in dash gas gauge and dash light dimmer switch that will be included with the purchase of the car. The interior of the car is in very good condition. There is a small tear in the leather in the drivers seat. Exterior paint has some chips on the hood and the clear coat is cracked. The paint on the trunk is stained. The fiberglass on the trunk has a bow in it. This is a known trait of the fiberglass of the period. The trunk does leak when washed. There are areas of the car with some surface rust. The frame & floors are solid. The car runs and drives great.
