This 1974 Mercedes 450sl convertible its blue with dark tan(Bamboo?) interior and is in great condition has (less than 4k miles a year) around 150k but around 20k on a rebuilt motor (unfortunately no documentation) i was just told by the previous owner. I bought the car last year and believe to be the 3rd owner, I've put many extras into the car including oem mercedes sport wheels, suspension, front airdam and springs, rear seats,new alpine radio,Polk audio marine speakers, and many more extras. it has a soft and hard top. almost no rust on the body, will include all original parts as well. with minimal TLC this classic can be perfect. just did a full tune up before winter. I would rate this classic a high 7 or 8 out of 10, for more info or pics message me, call or txt. the car is worth over 12,000.00 NADA classic blue book value Im only asking 6,800.00 the price is negotiable. I would prefer to have a local pick up with cash, but I am willing to ship as long as the buyer arranges the pick up and shipping in which i would prefer a bank check, money order or bank wire transfer. This vehicle is sold AS-IS with no returns accepted so please ask any questions before bidding. will include the original rims (14")with brand new tires, suspension, and speakers. can work out a deal for a lesser price with the wheels. if you don't want the AMG penta style wheels i can take $800 off and sell with the 14" oem wheels, or if you want the Penta style AMG wheels and not the stock oem wheels ill take $500 off. The only minor problems: 1. cracked console between the front seats. costs about $100 here on ebay. 2. the right pillar chipped off the top a little does not affect at all. piece $40 on ebay. 3. has a tiny leak from the power steering box. the seals for the fix are $35 anywhere online 4. when installing the radio a fuse blew which i have not replaced, everything works except the odometer lights 5.minor water leak inside from the front. could be a seal around the window or clogged rain canals. I never cared because the car is not driven in the rain. and always garaged or under a car cover. 6.driver seat a little worn(no rips) but can be touched up with a kit. 7.antenna does not work but have a new antenna but did not install. Anthony On Jan-09-13 at 20:19:44 PST, seller added the following information: Just wanted to state that I am by no means a car expert and have never sold a car on Ebay. i do not want to misinform anyone, so please ask questions about the car and if you are planning to have the car shipped please contact me prior to bidding with the details. An ebay member asked me a few questions which are pretty important that i did not state. the under carriage of the car looks, the exhaust seems to sound fine and does not look too rusted. the tie rods and bearings seem to be in good working order. the seats are a little hard to move but with some grease i think it should be fine. a belt just started making a little noise but nothing major. AC blower works not sure if it needs refill or has other issues, could not get the cruise control to work, could be a fuse? but not sure.. the car was repainted in the early 90s and looks great. as far as the rust spots i will post more pics ASAP. Ive been asked to ship internationally which i do not accept so please do not bid if this is your case. thanks Anthony
