You are bidding on a 2002 jetta GLS 1.8t, with 98,456 miles. Please look closely at the pictures.There is damage to the Hood, driver side fender, driver side door, and bumper. The vehicle was involved in a hit and run. The engine seems to run ok but transmission may need to be replaced. Before the hit and run I noticed when the car is cold that the car hesitated when shifting gears, but when the car is warm it drives fine. This vehicle is being sold as is, so please ask questions. This would be a great parts car for someone who worked on vw's or a project car. On Saturday, January 5, 2013 I had a Volkswagon Technician test drive my jetta. He stated, it does need a new transmission and also a the thermostat to be drivable. He also said at 100k miles the timing belt will need to be replace as do all jettas at 100k miles. Shipping would be the buyer's responsibility. I do not intend to hire someone to ship the vehicle to you.
