Vehicle Detail

1969 Ford Falcon wagon. Very original good driving wagon that is ready to enjoy. Factory 302 V8 with automatic transmission, power steering and power rear window. It shows 72k on the odometer but I don't know if it has rolled over or not. The body is very good overall and it still has what I believe is original paint. Most of the paint is still good and shines nicely. I see no signs of previous accident damage, rust repair or paintwork. There is a spot on the right rear door where the paint has rubbed through. There is one very shallow dent on the right front fender and another shallow dent on the right rear door. Both could probably be easily taken out by a paintless dent guy. Overall a very solid car. The underside looks very good including floors, frame rails and torque boxes. Quarter panels are very nice with no visible rust. Driver's door has rust in both lower corners, all other doors look good. There is also rust starting along the bottom of the tailgate. The spare tire well has rusted out at the bottom and there is one small spot on top of the right front fender about the diameter of a pencil. Chrome and trim is all in good shape. Bumpers are very straight with good chrome. Has original wheels, hubcaps and good tires. Tailgate opens both ways easily and hinges are good. The interior is presentable and has a very nice headliner, nice orignal rubber floormat (no carpet in this model), good door panels and nice rear cargo area panels. The driver's seat is sagging and needs rebuilt and the dash is cracked. Falcon starts right up with no smoke or noises and run good. It drives very well and is tight and smooth going down the road. Electrical works including lights, wipers, heater, horn, radio and even the reverse lights! The switch on the tailgate for the rear window only works in one direction so right now there are wires sticking out under the tailgate with connectors that need to be switched to get the rear window back up. It takes 10 seconds and is quite easy which is why I have been too lazy to put in a new switch. All stock down to 2V carb and single exhaust. It is truly a pleasure to drive. This Falcon is ready to go right now. It runs and drives great and gets compliments on how cool and clean it is when I take it out. I will miss it but I am selling a few cars that I don't have indoor storage for and this is the last one to go. I looked for quite a while to find a clean old Ford wagon of almost any model and I bought this one within minutes of laying eyes on it. Car is for sale as is where is. It is available for inspection by appointment. No warranty expressed or implied. I have done my best to describe the car but please understand that it is 43 years old and needs restoration work to be perfect. $400 deposit due within 2 days of auction end, full payment within 7 days of auction end. Vehicle must be picked up within 21 days of auction end unless prior arrangements have been made. Bidder with less than 10 feedback must contact me prior to bidding or I will cancel your bid. This car is not for sale locally at this time and I plan to let the auction run its course. Shipping arrangements and charges are the responsibility of buyer and vehicle must be picked up from its current location. International buyers welcome.
