I'm selling my 1998 Burnished Gold Lexus GS400 Sedan. Lexus packed this car with every amenity possible for 1998 resulting in one of the best rides you can find! The 4.0L 300hp V8 VVT-i engine with Rear Wheel Drive and button shift manual-matic transmission (with performance and snow mode) are awesome. This car has been very well taken care of, and it is noticeable from the moment you see it and sit in it. These cars are becoming harder and harder to find, especially with low miles like mine. Amenities include: Lexus premium 17 inch Alloy Wheels with Newer Yokohama Tires, Sunroof, Auto-leveling Xenon HID headlights,Fog Lights, Leather Seating (passenger seat had a small scratch (size of a dime) that has been repaired), Power Windows/Locks/Mirrors, Power Front Seats with Drivers-side Memory Seat, Tilt and Telescopic Steering Wheel, Automatic A/C with Rear Vents, AM/FM/6-disc CD/Cassette Lexus Premium Stereo with Navigation and sub-woofer, Cruise Control, Cargo Floor Mat, Four Wheel disc ABS Braking, Traction Control, Full-size Spare, and Front and Side Airbags. 90K service (timing belt, spark plugs, and water pump) was just completed at Lexus dealer as well as 2 front upper ball joint and full transmission service, recent synthetic oil change, and new serpentine belt. I had been looking for a clean GS400 for years and finally found this one, but I'm getting a company car and my wife won't drive rear wheel drive in winter. Minor Issueson a 14 year old car: Small chip in windshield (filled), Cd Changer has been acting up lately and three of the door lock actuators are getting weaker (known issue on the GS- actuators can be replaced, but it never bothered me) and minor scratches and chips from highway driving.
