Vehicle Detail

Please note: the actual mileage on the car will vary from the listed mileage as I drive the car to work. You are looking at 2011 Saab 9-5 Aero 2.8-liter V6 Turbo XWD with 300 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque with following characteristics: · Classy, elegant styling that stands out, looks great from all angles · Awesome seats, front and rear · Quite, isolated ride · 18-inch 14-spoke alloy wheels · Tire pressure monitor · Panorama moonroof · Cabin air filter · Remote engine start · Seats, rear split folding · XM Satellite radio · 9-speaker Harman-Kardon surround sound audio · Xenon cornering headlights · Remote passive entry · 0-60 MPH (est.): 6.7 sec · Top speed: 150 mph · Electronically controlled shocks with 3 driver-selectable modes: comfort, intelligent, and sport · Bigger than the Audi A6, Volvo S80, and BMW 5-series Engine drives all four wheels through a paddle-shifted six-speed automatic transmission and Saab’s XWD. The XWD (torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive) uses a Haldex clutch pack with a standard rear electronic limited-slip differential. The Haldex all-wheel-drive system is similar to setups used on cars such as the Mitsubishi Evo X, BMW X6 and even the Nissan GT-R in that it can actively push torque to whichever rear wheel has the most grip while cornering. Torque vectoring works like stability control, except that it increases control by speeding you up through the application of power rather than by slowing you down through the application of brakes. On the 9-5, that means it takes severe provocation to break traction on dry roads and, when you do start sliding, all four wheels do it at the same time, creating a predictable slide rather than uncontrollable understeer.
