Offered for an appreciating new owner this rare classic 1970 Lincoln Continental Mark III! Finished in original color root beer brown metallic over white leather interior, this two-owner Nevada car has been driven just over 79,000 miles since new. The five-digit odometer works and I just took it on a near 300 miles road trip. I have clear Nevada title, it is 99.9% rust-free, features the 460 V8 engine mated to the three speed automatic transmission. It has COLD A/C, electric windows and seats, working am radio and the original factory owners manual showing the original owner info. This two-owner classic has received one correct-color repaint about 15 years ago. The paint is very presentable with a good shine. There are a few cracks, blemishes and imperfections here and there. The chrome bumpers and trim and wheel covers look all original and in good condition. The original white vinyl top is peeling and tattered. THE INTERIOR The interior of this classic Lincoln is in GOOD but NOT concourse ORIGINAL CONDITION overall. As you can see in the photos the leather is original with a definite patine showing wear especially on the drivers seat. The electric seat controls work, the windows are currently inop, the a/c blows cold, the heat works well, the odometer works and mileage is told to be absolutely original. The am radio works! There is one crack on the dash, the carpets are original, some wear on the door panels. THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This Mark III starts, runs and drives QUITE WELL! The engine has excellent smooth power, the transmission shifts smoothly, the suspension is very supple free of any clunks or rattles.
